Last weekend’s deep freeze froze the Saco River from shore to shore at Marston’s Marina in Saco. Regular Points East contributor Randy Randall writes:
“For the first time in quite a few years the river froze from shore to shore. That cold snap was enough to freeze the river and the fox could walk from Saco to Biddeford. I wouldn’t have dared try that walk myself, but ice did last through a few tide cycles. Impressive to say the least.”
