A bright side

If there’s a bright side to the current situation, it’s that “our boatyards and the yachts in them are cleaner than they’ve ever been,” writes Drew Lyman is his email newsletter regarding updates at Lyman Morse and efforts the company is making to keep working moving ahead and employees safe:

“To reduce contact between service yard employees, we have temporarily gone to a split-shift system. This allows one employee at a time to work on a boat and also allows for a thorough cleaning and sanitizing of boats and tools between shifts. We have also expanded the disinfecting measures taken at all our facilities. If there’s a silver lining in any of this, it’s that our boatyards and the yachts in them are cleaner than they’ve ever been.”

Drew says the company’s goal is to keep all projects on schedule and have everyone in the water as early as possible.
