We spotted this adorable beauty recently on the freshwater portion of the Saco River. It’s a Roberts Kit-Craft Skimmer. A kit-built boat that was manufactured by the company of the same name in Branford, Conn. Although it’s less than 8-feet long and weighs in at 85 pounds, it can carry up to a 7.5 hp outboard. The current owners have opted for something slightly smaller and arguably greener for propulsion.
