What a lovely sight to see the 1941 Alden cutter, Owl flying through the Fox Island Thorofare this evening at sunset time. Reef tucked in as all the passing boats did today (including my husband leaving the mooring for Rockland this afternoon), Owl slid by much like the gulls and eagles have all day, using the gusts to climb higher. Passengers were getting their money’s worth as Owl kicked up her heels in the fall light. Owl sails out of Camden, Maine.
