Unusual sight on two moorings, rafted stern to stern in narrow Perry’s Creek on Vinalhaven, two aluminum ocean-going, international visitors. Comparable in size, Maake-s from Holland and Long John Silver from Netherlands. The latter was documented by My Ship Tracking as 12 x 4m, approx. 40′ x 13′. It also indicates Norfolk, VA as the first US port of call which they left 6/26.
No one was on deck of either vessel when I passed by delivering muffins to folks further up the creek, on the inner mooring, but I’d had a brief chat with the Dutch folks the previous day.
Second photo of Long John Silver heading east out of the Fox Island Thorofare.
